RASP predicts the thermal updraft velocity across the UK. It is useful for checking how soarable the day is going to be and it's mostly used during the warmer months to determine whether a cross-country task is achievable.  Change the map to display Thermal Updraft Velocity then, if it is red/orange/yellow over Husbands Bosworth it is a good sign that thermals will be about. Zoom in on your location and use the dropdown menu in the top left to change the day and time. Click here for more information
